SCHEME FOR PROMOTING YOUNG TALENTS IN SCIENCE (SPYTIS)
Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment has launched a special programme called Scheme for Promoting Young Talents in Science (SPYTiS). Students from schools, polytechnic colleges and those admitted to undergraduate level courses in colleges will be selected every year for doing a science project under SPYTiS-I and SPYTiS-II schemes.
Under the scheme, a group consisting of 2 or more students of Class VIII-XII from a school will be selected for the award (Rs.5,000/-) for doing a science project. The duration of the project is one year

Under the scheme, the students who have innovative ideas in science & technology and enrolled in polytechnic colleges and undergraduate courses in colleges will be provided financial assistance of Rs.10,000/- for conducting projects. The support will be essentially project based and will be given for a period of one year.
